 Marathon Petroleum Refinery

Deep South Crane and Rigging, with support from Vic's Crane and Heavy
Haul, mobilized their TC28000 VersaCrane for use in a plant upgrade at
at the Marathon Petroleum Company’s refinery in Saint Paul Park,
Minnesota. The refinery has a capacity of 70,000 barrels per day. Crude
oil from the United States and Canada is processed into many products
including gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and jet fuel. The VersaCrane was designed and built in house by Deep South Crane
and Rigging. The TC28000 has a lifting capaticty of 1,800 tons with a
maximum boom length of 757 feet. The compact design allows it to be
transported economically and work within a very confined area. The
design also provides it the lowest ground bearing pressure of any crane
in the industry. Equipment Manitowoc: 2250. VersaCrane: TC28000. October 2007
