MARQ2 Transit Project




The Marquette Avenue and Second Avenue South Transit Project
(MARQ2) is a 2 mile project that will add additional bus lanes through the
heart of Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The roads are being rebuilt from building
front to building front and along with the 2 bus lanes the addition of 2
traffic lanes, wider sidewalks and new transit shelters will ease mass transit
access to the downtown business core.  The project is scheduled to be
completed in the fall of 2009.
