Edward Kraemer and Sons Quarry
Edward Kraemer and Sons (EKS) mines limestone in Burnsville, Minnesota.
The 340 acre, 90 foot deep, multi-bench operation has been active since
1959. Originally Euclid, Terex then Caterpillar rigid frame haul trucks
carried the limestone from the faces to the primary crusher. But in 2003
EKS upgraded to a mobile crusher and conveyor system from Metso
Minerals.
Equipment
Caterpillar: 330B with impact hammer, 140G with wing plow, D8N,
   950E, 980G, 988G, 992D, 773B with Phil Autogate tailgate.
Furukawa Rock Drill: Unknown model.
Metso Minerals|Nordberg: Lokotrack LT125E(C125 crusher with a
   LT140 frame), LL mobile conveyor system.
