Minneapolis Grain Elevator Two
Veit Companies was contracted to do the demolition and removal of this
grain elevator near downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota. They used a high
reach demolition (HRD) excavator, the first unit of this type in Minnesota.
Veit’s HRD was custom designed and uses a Caterpillar 365C base with a
specialized boom capable of reaching heights in excess of 125 feet.Equipment
