 Weisman Art Museum

The University of Minnesota is expanding the Frank Gehry designed
Weisman Art Museum on the West Bank in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The
$14 million, 8,100 square foot expansion will add four galleries and a
"creative collaboration" studio for new projects by artists and students.
Due to the narrow footprint and slope of the museum's site, the new
galleries will be in four square boxes jutting out from the southeast corner
of the structure, perched on tall piers built atop the underground parking
garage. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2011. Equipment Bobcat: 553 with forks. Caterpillar: 247B2 with forks and bucket, 950G, 312l. Grove: TMS900E. Kobelco: SK290lc. Schwing: 34 meter on Kenworth base. Watson: 3110. Wolffkran:WK325-232. July 2010
